About Brittany
I am a college student majoring in Elementary Education. I obtained my Associates Degree in 2016 and am currently working towards my Bachelors! Prior to transferring colleges, I volunteered in a non-profit organization, Bookmark Buddies. This program was offered to third-grade students who were at risk of failing the state standardized tests. With my tutoring capabilities, I made sure that the children that I tutored felt confident enough on the work they needed to do, and had achieved above grade-level scores on the state standardized test!

My teaching method is to work with students from start to finish, making sure they understand each method and how to correctly solve the problem, making them confident in solving similar problems. I teach the child how to solve the problem a couple of times through and watch the child solve it on their own, guiding when needed. Once they are able to do it correctly, I make up similar problems to make sure they are confident in how to solve it correctly.
