About Annabel
I am a student currently studying higher level Biology, Chemistry and Social and Cultural Anthropology, as well as standard level Maths Applications and Interpretations, English Literature and Language, and German in the International Baccalaureate, with aspirations to go on to university to study veterinary medicine. My GCSE results were outstanding, having achieved 5 9s, 4 8s and a 7. My mathematics grade was an 8 (A*), so I feel confident that I have a strong understanding of all topics involved and the foundations needed in earlier years to reach such results. My current predicted grade for Mathematics AI in the IB is a 7, which is the highest grade attainable. My younger brother is in Year 9, and I have helped him to understand the methodology behind certain aspects of Maths on many occasions.

My teaching is aimed at students in KS1, KS2 and KS3. I use a variety of methods to effectively aid the student's understanding of a topic; these include powerpoints, worksheets, demonstrations/worked examples, and practice questions. However, I will also take into accounts the student's preferred method of learning if they have one, so as to ensure I am as engaging as possible and to allow them to have as strong a grasp on a topic as they can. My teaching is carried out online via Zoom.
