About Elena
My name is Elena and I moved abroad to study my university career. It was a shock to see myself totally surrounded by English in my class and not being able to communicate comfortably was frustrating, but the persistence and losing the fear of being wrong led me to where I am today.

I like to understand the student and to adapt to their needs. Despite that, I usually start with the most complex, structuring sentences. English has thousands of exceptions, which is why it is good to start strong with grammar and to learn vocabulary in parallel. Holding conversations in English about events that happen in our lives, translating songs, poetry or movies are activities that help to put more enthusiasm. But above all, the main thing I like to teach is not to be afraid of making mistakes.
