About Noelia

I am currently a student of Sociology at the University of Buenos Aires and Dance at the National Dance College. I have worked giving private classes on a variety of subjects related to my areas of study as well as online Spanish classes.

About the lesson

I try to teach using a methodology that is practical, customized and adapted to the needs and particular tastes and interests of each student, given that this is a much more effective way to maintain the learner's engagement and concentration.
In addition to developing grammatical skills, it is important to work in a conversational mode of learning so that the student can feel more comfortable and be more motivated to speak the language he or she wants to learn, erasing the image of the teacher-student relationship and allowing the student to develop their knowledge with the freedom to make mistakes in order to maintain fluency.
Another key part of this process is the use of video clips, movies, readings as well as manuals dedicated to language teaching, with practical exercises containing particular learning axes.
Also, in order to make the learning of the language a much wider experience than the purely idiomatic, it is helpful to be able to interchange cultural topics, discuss current events, and share daily activities.

Super recomendable!

I have a degree in Political Science and Latin American Studies and in order to finish my program I needed to learn how to speak and write in Spanish, so I came to Argentina as part of a study abroad program and reached out to Noelia for some private tutoring. She helped me a great deal with not just strengthening the basics of the language in daily conversation but working on writing essays and reading academic texts that were assigned to me in my Spanish-language classes. In addition, she offered me a tour through the city and recommended a variety of cultural events where I had the opportunity to put into practice everything I was learning. Overall she is a very friendly, kind person who was very attentive to my needs as a student and helped me to build upon my strengths. Highly recommended!
