About Iva
Hello!
My name is Iva. I'm from Montenegro, I'm 20 and I'm currently a student at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, studying with prof. Matthew Jones.
I love working with children and I am always very happy to have a young student!
I have many performances and competitions behind and have been tutored and taught by many different artists. I have plenty of ideas and lesson plans for my future students.
And, at the end of the day, I want them to see me as a friend whom they make music with!

I love working with kids and I always want to make sure they have their own opinions, ideas and styles. When working with me, they are always encouraged to think creatively and to have fun while playing and practicing their instrument.
I also encourage my students to listen to music more and explore different genres and sounds, to help them understand their own musical needs. We practice their ears and their ability to play what they hear - which is a big part in a musician's life!
We work together on their general technique and musicality and I am always happy to answer any questions or queries they may have, by having friendly one on one sessions online. I am very happy to teach the way I wanted to be taught as a child!

Perfect! We have been acquainted with Miss Iva since February 2022 when our daughter began her violin lessons. Not only is she very highly qualified academically and musically, she also displays an enormous passion for music and teaching and desire to provide our daughter with the best music, practical and theory lessons. Iva is a very punctual and her personal warmth is seen in every lesson with our daughter. Our daughter has successfully passed Grade 1 and now working towards Grade 2.
Perfect! Such an amazing violin teacher! Highly recommended!! She is very knowledgeable about most of the music instruments!

I think Iva is trustworthy tutor because I learned a lot from her. She affected my musical taste in many good ways. Also, she is very aproachable and comunicative. My favourite thing about her classes is her dedication and patience. Would recommend 100%!
