About Ashley
I am a motivated university student who's passion lies in teaching. I aspire to become an A-level mathematics and further mathematics teacher.
I have been tutoring now for over two years, and have thoroughly enjoyed every student I have worked with. My drive for teaching comes from seeing my students develop confidence in their ability over the course of our sessions together.
I believe everybody has the ability to understand mathematics, they just need to be presented it in a way that is tailored to how they think; this is something I pride my teaching style on!

I have 2 years of experience tutoring a wide range of abilities in students, from helping prepare for Junior Mathematical Olympiad (JMO), to helping prepare for GCSE retakes.
My first session with the student is an opportunity to mathematically examine them; meaning I will understand their strong points and weaknesses, I will learn their preferred learning style and how they like would like these lessons presented - from here I will create a tailored plan for the individual.
Typically, the lesson length I find most effective in teaching is 1 hour. However, I am very flexible in the request of the student.
