About Burke
I am currently a rising senior majoring in Foreign Language and International Economics at the University of Kentucky. I have been studying Spanish for the past 8 years of my in a multitude of areas such as oral and written communication. I have 2 years teaching experience as well as peer tutoring at varying education levels. I have a strong desire to teach and a passion for the Spanish language.

Spanish
When learning a language there has to be exposure which hopefully will drive desire. Additionally, some students do no utilize speaking abilities due to the fear of making mistakes, even though they are inevitable. This is why no matter your level of Spanish in any category, that be, reading, writing or speaking. I will encourage the usage of Spanish as much as possible. This reason being that there must be confidence when learning another language. When speaking during our sessions we will be able to work on that confidence by correcting mistakes early on and exposing you to Spanish in many forms being, song, videos and literature and overall ability to conjugate words fluidly in many tenses in conversation. This way the learning process is and feels more interactive rather than a lecture. Lessons are geared more towards high school and college students.
