About Anjali
Teaching kids of many ages is so important, as their teachers/styles of teaching directly shows in their performance now, as well as later in life. I truly believe in the power of hybrid teaching. Hybrid teaching focuses on teaching using a variety of different methods for better, easier comprehension. I like to utilize demonstrating with examples, as well as individual corrections. Individual corrections is students taking time to reread the work they've written to see if they can pinpoint any corrections and errors they made. These types of teaching styles can really help later during any standardized testing or assignments are given in the future, and ensure individual confidence and growth.

I truly believe anyone should take english lessons, as there's so much to learn and grow regardless of your age! Essay writing and public speaking especially will be utilized throughout your life, and getting the fundamentals down will only help you exceed. Working as a teacher assistant, a YMCA counselor, and tutor has trained me in working with all ages, especially when every age group learns differently. My curriculum works best for students from 5th grade-12th, and is flexible based on needs (such as college essays, speech work, grammar, etc.) A normal lesson plan would go as: starting out with any homework or proofreads, and based on any revisions/help needed, deep diving into more examples and practices to hone those skills.
