About Laavanya
I am a student of Politics and Media in East Asia at the University of Sheffield, who has been learning Korean since 2017, and teaching since 2024. Having been on both the learner and teacher side of the student-tutor dynamic, I understand that language learning should be tailored to the needs and learning style of the student in order to be most effective. My style of teaching is interactive and flexible, and I am capable of offering guidance to students who wish to write the TOPIK exam. My ultimate goal is for students to be able to achieve holistic development in the Korean language, with good communicative and comprehension skills.

TOPIK level 5 certified tutor with 1 year experience teaching Korean with a focus on practical usage of language and cultural immersion. Classes range from 1-2 hours per day based on student's level, with mutually agreed-upon weekly schedule (recommended minimum of 2 hours per week).
