About Holly
My name is Holly and I grew up in France. I am currently studying Politics and Sociology, in my second year at the University of Glasgow.
French is my first language and I passed my baccalauréat with 17/20 (and grades of 19/20 in both my French written and oral exams), so can tutor the language at all levels.
After high school, I moved to Madrid for eight months where I started a Spanish degree in Culture, Communications and Modern Languages.
Spanish was also my elective last year at University, a course in which my final grade was an A4.
I can therefore practice conversational Spanish and tutor up to an advanced higher level. My strong suit, however, would be helping practice for oral exams.
I have some experience tutoring back home, in France, where I often helped students practice English and Spanish. For instance, my high school teachers asked me to come back a year after I graduated, in order to help their students practice for their oral presentations in English and Spanish before their final exams. This was not only rewarding for me; it also allowed me to share my passion for languages and is something that I would love to continue doing.
