Hi, I’m Jake. I love teaching because it allows me to connect with people, share knowledge, and watch students grow and improve. I enjoy explaining concepts clearly and helping others succeed, drawing on the methods that helped me achieve top grades in Computer Science, Maths, and Physics. Tutoring is a way for me to improve my communication skills while making a real difference in someone’s learning journey.

Approach to Tutoring: I focus my lessons entirely on each student’s exam board specification, covering exactly what’s required—and nothing extra unless you want to explore beyond that. My goal is to help students feel confident and clear on all the material they’ll be assessed on. Techniques and Methodology: I take a flexible, student-focused approach, using explanations, worked examples, and plenty of practice questions. Lessons are interactive, so students can ask questions whenever they need to, and we can spend as much time as necessary on any topic. Lesson Length: Completely flexible—lessons are tailored to your pace and needs. Qualifications and Experience: I’ve tutored students of different ages and abilities before. With my A-level background in Computer Science, Maths, and Physics, I’m well-equipped to support students up to A-level in these subjects. Who the Lessons Are For: I work with students up to A-level, adapting my approach to their current level and goals to make sure they get exactly what they need.
