About Ruby
At 12, I discovered my love for English through writing 365 poems for charity. This challenge sparked my passion for how words can make a difference and reshape perspectives. As a literature enthusiast, I enjoy exploring universal themes and analysing how writers use language to influence. I’ve led clubs, edited a creative writing magazine, and volunteered internationally, improving my communication and teaching skills. My goal is to inspire students of language and literature while encouraging them to think critically and creatively.

I will suggest many techniques and methods to achieve a high level of academia whilst also ensuring that the content material is understood. We will go through any classwork that has not been comprehended. As well as this I will provide my own exercises and texts to go through and discuss. I will make sure that I can make English fun, regardless of the child's level of understanding. Lessons would be an hour long. I have tutored many GCSE level students who have all achieved either a grade 8 or 9. The lessons are for ages 7-16, not just for exam prep but also for anyone struggling with English in general.
