About Sıla
I am studying English language teaching at Middle East Technical University. I am always exposed to English as I study at a school that teaches in English and hosts students from many different countries. I'm doing a translation. I am aware of how difficult it is to learn another language and I want to show you how enjoyable this challenge can actually be.

Since only academic English is emphasized in our schools, students are afraid to speak English and always avoid it. We will work on overcoming this fear.
I will cover the lessons by talking about students' interests. I will always direct the student to active conversation by asking questions to the student. My main goal is to make you realize that speaking English or making mistakes while speaking is not as scary as you think and to give you confidence.
