About Talia
I have been tutoring for just over 1 year. In that time taught a range of students from the age of 5-15 in the subjects of Maths and English due to my work at Explore Learning, where I lead a creative class aimed to help secondary students advance in various aspects of the secondary school curriculum. I have also been privately tutoring history to 14 and 15 year olds in preparation for their upcoming GCSE exams- they achieved A* grades in their end of year exams.

I am studying BA History and Politics at the University of Nottingham, having achieved 2A* and 1A at A-levels in History Politics and Economics. After going through the GCSE process not long ago I have a real understanding of how challenging it can be and therefore know first hand the ways to overcome the challenge and achieve the best grades possible.
I have a real passion for essay writing and believe it is a topic I excel in and have the ability to therefore pass on my knowledge and help others to do the same.
I have previous experience in tutoring children of ages 5-15 in Maths, English and History, through working at Explore Learning and other private tutoring. I like to structure each lesson based on the needs of the child and therefore adapt my methods to suit them.
