About Marina
I am a passionate linguist. Since I was young, I remember taking my phrasebooks everywhere and picking up new words. I have a profound interest in discovering new words, learning grammar patterns and applying them to my daily life. Aside from the academic side of language learning, I am an avid traveller and love to see how languages enable me to engage more with a foreign culture on a deeper level. I teach with patience and eagerness. It is my hope that every student comes out of my class feeling confident and curious. I want them to show initiative to explore new themes and current affairs and be prepared to share their findings with me during our next session

40-55 minute sessions of class with a focus on conversation, grammar and building essential vocabulary that can be used in daily life or in specific settings. If you wish to learn English with me, there is no age limit or level limit, I am happy to cater to all abilities and learning paces. However, if you choose to learn Spanish or Mandarin with me, I ask that you are at a level of around B1-C1 for Spanish or B1-B2 for Mandarin. This would equate to about an A-Level student/entry university student. Please feel free to drop me a message with any questions, I'd be more than happy to assist!
