About Rocco
I fell in love with Latin as a 10-year-old, and being able to speak Italian thanks to my mother helped greatly with understanding and vocabulary. I think that the culture of Rome must be passed down to future generations, and by teaching I would love to preserve this legacy, as well as foster the love for the language in others. I achieved fantastic marks in GCSE (very high 9s in the language and literature papers) and am a keen A-level student, with hopes to continue it as a degree. I love helping others learn - as the old adage goes, 'DOCENDO DISCIMUS' (by teaching, we learn).

I am all for filling in the gaps of students' knowledge, as Latin is built on foundations which reinforce later topics. I would help them improve grammar and form a strong foundation, which would be solidified by reading texts with actual stories. I would teach up to GCSE, serving as a clinic lesson to rebuild unsure foundations.
