My personalised trumpet lessons focus on helping every student reach their highest musical potential through patient guidance, structured learning, and practical performance experience. Students begin by mastering essential fundamentals including posture, breathing, embouchure, articulation, rhythm, tone production, scales, and note reading before progressing to more advanced musical concepts.
As confidence grows, lessons include flexibility exercises, endurance training, lip slurs, range development, phrasing, dynamics, sight reading, solo repertoire, orchestral excerpts, jazz improvisation, ensemble performance, and advanced interpretation.
Music theory, ear training, listening skills, and effective practice techniques are incorporated throughout the learning process to strengthen overall musicianship. Each lesson is adapted to the student's experience, learning style, and personal goals, ensuring steady progress and enjoyable learning.
I encourage students through constructive feedback, customised practice routines, and regular performance opportunities that build confidence and technical excellence. Whether you dream of joining a band, performing in an orchestra, succeeding in music examinations, or simply playing your favourite songs with confidence, my lessons provide the knowledge, skills, and motivation needed to achieve lasting success on the trumpet.
