About Skye
Teaching flute has been my passion for the past 17+ years, and every student I teach inspires me to become a better educator. I work with school and college students in a friendly learning environment where questions are always welcome. Lessons begin with breathing control, posture, finger techniques, rhythm, and tone production before moving to advanced musical skills.
I believe learning should always be positive and encouraging. One of the highlights of my teaching career has been helping students perform confidently and enjoy sharing their music with others.
Besides flute, I also teach music theory, sight reading, ear training, music appreciation, rhythm practice, and performance preparation. My goal is to inspire students to enjoy music while building skills that last a lifetime.

Every student has unique musical abilities, and my role is to help those abilities grow with confidence. My flute teaching approach combines Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity to create meaningful and enjoyable learning experiences.
Lessons are carefully planned after understanding the student's level and learning objectives. Students begin by mastering breathing techniques, posture, finger coordination, rhythm, note reading, and tone quality. Advanced lessons include articulation, scales, dynamics, musical expression, improvisation, and stage performance.
I motivate students through encouragement and positive reinforcement that builds confidence over time. Communication is simple, friendly, and interactive, making learning comfortable for students of every age. Integrity helps me maintain honesty, respect, and equal attention in every lesson.
Creativity is introduced through movie songs, folk music, classical melodies, rhythm activities, listening practice, duet performances, and ear training. Along with flute, I teach music theory, recorder, beginner keyboard, sight reading, rhythm practice, and performance coaching.
