"A typical session feels like a friendly conversation that bridges the gap between basic vocabulary building and high-level listening comprehension. I draw upon 13 years of classroom practice to ensure that your time is spent on practical skills like email writing or speaking practice for exams. We move through the material at a pace that feels comfortable for adult learners and working professionals who need to see real results.
My lessons focus on the essential grammar foundations and idiomatic expressions that allow you to sound more natural when interacting with others. You will receive free access to my vocabulary notes as a resource to help you study outside of our scheduled time together. "Grammar foundations are where we begin, really. Having worked with 469 students across various backgrounds, I understand the hurdle of starting from scratch or refining advanced skills. My 13 years of experience allow me to navigate the needs of adult learners and working professionals with ease.
I hold a Licence from Université Laval and a CELTA, which frames my approach to ESL. Whether you are a TOEFL candidate or a newcomer to the language, I tailor the pacing to suit your specific goals. I weave my personal narrative as a bilingual speaker into our sessions to keep things relatable.
