About Ritwik
I'm professionally a film maker but I've practiced and been a student of Tabla for 3 decades, from when I was 9. My father, who is my Guru, taught me the basics in a way that it was not difficult to apply and create new patterns whenever necessary. But the old school of teaching does not impart a lot of nitty gritties and widely practiced formulaes to play a lot of things effectively,that is where I want to make a change and share my experience!
