About Shayne
As an educator all my life (I only stopped when I had to be a full-time PhD student), I have learned so much about individual differences and catering to the needs of the students. I have always believed that learning should be fun. Also, since I know the importance and value of money, I apply it too in my work ethic - I always want to give the best service as I know that in the current economic situation, earning money can be difficult.

My teaching philosophy:
- Quality over quantity. What's the use of too much information when after each lesson, you only remember a fraction of what was discussed (or do not recall anything at all).
- Learner-centred. Lessons are catered around the students' needs, knowledge, and pace. Not everyone learns in the same way. The length of lessons depends on what the student can take. Who wants to be bored, right?
- Simplicity is the best policy. Why complicate things that are already complicated? For example, statistics.
My qualification:
From my undergraduate to my PhD, I have studied Psychology. I have also been an educator for almost 15 years, handling preschool, middle school, and University students.
I am keen to teach lessons to Higher Education students, and adults too.
