About Tobias
My goal as a trumpet instructor is to inspire students to become confident musicians while making every lesson enjoyable, engaging, and rewarding. I work with students of all ages and backgrounds, providing personalised instruction that balances technical development with creative expression.
Lessons focus on building excellent playing habits, improving tone quality, strengthening rhythm, developing sight reading abilities, and expanding overall musicianship. I encourage students to explore different musical styles while developing discipline, consistency, and confidence through structured learning and practical performance experience.
Seeing students grow both musically and personally is one of the most fulfilling aspects of my career as an educator.

I offer comprehensive trumpet lessons that combine proven teaching methods with personalised instruction to help students reach their full musical potential. Lessons begin with the fundamentals of breathing, embouchure, articulation, posture, rhythm, scales, and music reading to establish a strong technical foundation.
As students progress, they learn tone refinement, flexibility, endurance, lip slurs, dynamics, phrasing, sight reading, ear training, and musical interpretation through carefully selected exercises and repertoire.
Advanced instruction includes orchestral literature, solo repertoire, jazz improvisation, ensemble performance, advanced articulation, audition coaching, and performance psychology. Students also receive guidance on warm up routines, efficient practice techniques, and maintaining healthy playing habits that support long term progress.
Every lesson is engaging, encouraging, and designed to inspire confidence, discipline, and musical excellence.
