About Lauren
I'm a recent Social Anthropology graduate. Over the past 2 years I have been teaching English with refugees and migrants in London and Athens, as well as tutoring students from a variety of ages and backgrounds. Since I graduated I have realised education has to remain a central part of my life, and what better way than sharing the joy of learning. I'd say my youth equips me as a great tutor for humanities, and social sciences, as I am fresh out of education, and know all the tools of the trade for getting the best out of any exam, and equipping students with impressive essay styles.

My teaching method is all about getting students talking and engaged. I like to base a lesson around a topic, my ESL training taught me to use a topic and incorporate this with technical knowledge such as grammar. When it comes to GCSE/A Level help, I will plan to break down a syllabus into particular topic areas; from which I can incorporate the areas of writing and, particular concepts to work on week by week. As an individual who is actively interested by said course content, I will endeavour to make it interesting for all involved.
