About Emma
I am friendly, flexible, and eager to help someone learn Spanish as it would be a joy of mine to help someone else in a language that I have grown to love. I understand the complexities of learning a language as I am a recent graduate, so as a tutor I am patient, I explain things clearly and I go at a pace that is comfortable for the student.

I believe the best way to learn a new subject is to first make it fun and interesting, then test your knowledge to build your confidence and understanding. However, I also know that not the same thing will apply to everyone so that is why I stay flexible with my time and if need be I will change my schedule or teaching methods for the benefit of my students. A typical lesson will be between 30 minutes to an hour and will be for those of any age wishing to learn Beginner to Intermediate level Spanish.
I have experience informally tutoring English to Spanish students during my year abroad, where I explained and helped them to practice all aspects of the English language. I also taught a Spanish beginners class as an extracurricular for a number of months during my time in education.
