About Jamie
I'm 22 years old and currently studying Inter-Linguistic and Cultural Mediation. I had the pleasure of working as an English teacher for more than four years to more than 150 students from all age groups.
I had the privilege of working and constantly putting into practice various teaching methodologies for an English School in an English Teacher, Tutor, and Facilitator role, where I learned valuable professional skills such as adaptive teaching methods, student assessment, classroom management, conflict resolution, and classroom safety. In both my academic and professional life, I have been described as hard working, flexible, and quality-oriented by my professors, colleagues, and students. Whether working on academic, extracurricular, or professional projects, I apply proven multitasking, creative thinking, language and communication skills, which I hope to demonstrate and apply during our lessons.

My passion is to teach and to learn together; to accompany students through the journey of language acquisition. I believe the best way to learn a language is to LIVE the language, surrounding and immersing oneself in the chosen language. I’ve gone through the experience of learning a foreign language, so I can understand the process and precede the most common doubts that usually come up. I give learning tips based on experience and not only on theory. Having lived in many countries and learned their culture, I can easily pick up students feelings and their level of motivation. I can read their learning styles to then understand what type of lesson would perfectly adapt. I like organizing my lessons although I also leave space to improvisation and flexibility whenever required or necessary.
