About Sergei
My essays are so good that I was admitted to UChicago, got 5s on all AP exams, won creative writing awards, and got As in rigorous argumentative writing courses. 8/7/8 SAT Essay score.
I was furthermore selected to be on the board of Slived Bread Literary magazine, where I analyzed student submissions. I enjoy creative writing in my spare time, always improving my command of English.

I always explain why exactly and how something should be done as opposed to merely saying it should. I answer questions, read your work (whether drafts or returned grades), and critique it.
I will help you understand everything about making an argument, logical reasoning, and essay structure. I know how to bring clarity to an essay. Sometimes less is more.
I am familiar with creative techniques such as antithesis, hyperbole, asyndeton, metaphor, simile, alliteration, and logical fallacies you should avoid.
I know how to make the tone of an essay sound appropriate to the given occasion, audience, topic, and general context. I will teach you how to sound confident without sounding pretentious.
My tutoring style is personalized and depends on what works best for you. I always adapt and enjoy coming up with unique solutions for every student.
I guide your deduction to make the same conclusions about essay writing as I have, or to even go beyond. In this way, you do not memorize, but instead know exactly what you are doing.
