About Nicolas
I lived in Barcelona, Spain, and have lived in and travelled all over Latin America. I spent the majority of my time in Chile, and so I have native-like fluency. I also had to go through all the trials and tribulations of barely speaking (or understanding) a word, and being thrown in at the deep end. This is common for people who end up in a Spanish-speaking country either for travelling or work. I also teach English as a foreign language, and have a long-time interest in linguistics. I know how to target lessons to your needs, weaknesses and strengths. Importantly, I am a calm and patient teacher, and focus on what your goals are and how to reach them.

My lessons are tailored specifically to your needs. For beginners, I can teach you in English, but the aim is to get you communicating in Spanish, both speaking and listening. I integrate grammar into developing your speaking and listening skills. Lessons focus on communication, but there is vocabulary and grammar too.
