Super Tutor

Daniel is one of our best Dance tutors. They have a high-quality profile, verified qualifications, a quick response time, and great reviews from students!

About Daniel

Nervous about dancing? Good, most of my students start exactly there.

I'm Daniel Seven, a professional dancer and choreographer with over 20 years of teaching experience and more than 5,000 students taught, from New York to Tokyo. I help complete beginners go from "I can't dance" to dancing with confidence, whether it's for a night out, a wedding, a performance or just for fun.

Why learn with me:

Trained at The Urdang Academy (sole recipient of the William Luther Scholarship), plus Zoonation, Boy Blue and Broadway Dance Centre
Performed on X-Factor, BBC and MTV, and at Sadler's Wells, The Place and Royal Academy of Dance
Award-winning choreographer: 1st place at the XXL UK Street Dance Championships and Best Themed Choreography at World of Dance UK 2016
Choreographed for brands including QVC, Bank of China and Swatch

I teach Salsa, Hip Hop and street, wedding dances, choreography, freestyle, contemporary and cultural dances.

I started as a street dancer myself, so I know what it's like to learn without a roadmap. I break every move down until it clicks, keep it fun, and never make you feel silly for starting.

Message me with what you want to learn and any deadline (a wedding, a party, a holiday) and I'll suggest a plan.

About the lesson

Every lesson is one-to-one and built around you: your level, your music, your goal. I come to you or teach live online, whichever suits your schedule.

In your first session we'll talk through your goals, cover the foundations of your chosen style, and finish with either a short routine or a clear plan for what's next. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes you can move in.

Perfect! My lesson with Daniel was one of the most fun things I've done this year. I'm a complete beginner / novice and have always wanted to be able to dance but have been too nervous to try - I finally took the plunge and Daniel made me feel completely at ease. He broke things down to a digestible and complete basic level with some banging tunes. It was an absolute blast! Looking forward to another lesson as soon as possible

Perfect! Daniel was a great tutor giving the 1:1 attention that I was looking for when I booked these sessions. He took the time to understand my limitations and to improve each move when practicing. I feel a lot more confident now and can't wait for more sessions!

Perfect! Daniel is the best teacher I ever had. He made me feel like a natural and made the lessons seem so much fun, while striving for perfection in the same time. Nevertheless, he carries an amazing amount of positive energy, such a lovely human being to have around!

I used Daniel to teach me general movement. I wanted to learn movement just for parties and discos and I didn’t want to learn routines that I would never use. Daniel gave me general exercises and arm movements that have really helped.
And he has boosted my confidence on the dance floor. He showed genuine understanding of what I was looking for

Me and my partner have been attending dancing lessons with Daniel for over a year now.
Daniel is an amazing teacher who is always patient, friendly and makes every lesson unique.
I have been taught by other dance teachers but Daniel sets the bar at such a high level, we are extremely lucky to have him as our teacher.
I will always recommend him to friends and family. Again thank you so much Daniel, I look forward to many more years of Salsa dancing :).

Thanks James and Brenda.
