About Polymnia
I have vast academic, teaching and research experience in Classics, History and Modern Greek language and Literature. I have a BA in Greek Literature from the University of Thessaloniki, Greece and another in Psychology from the University of Thessaloniki, Greece. Also, I have an MA in Ancient History from UCL and another MA in Classics from UCL. I have a PhD in History from UCL. I have teaching experience at both secondary school level and university level. I have been teaching Ancient Greek and Latin, Classical Civilisation, Modern Greek, History, Philosophy, and Psychology at schools and Universities in the UK and abroad. I am able to build a good relationship with my students and their feedback for my teaching is always very good. Some of them have been inspired by my teaching as to study Classics and History at the University. Perfect! Subject : Greek
Perfect! Dedicated teacher
Polymnia is a wonderfully dedicated teacher who really puts the work in to prepare for our lessons. She took time to engage with me in order to find common interests so that we could use them as a tool for practising and improving my Greek. Not only does she teach the language well but she is also very knowledgeable about Greek history, art, culture and literature. It has been a pleasure.
