I’m naturally quite thoughtful and reflective (I’m an INTJ), but I also have a dry, gentle sense of humour and enjoy making learning feel relaxed and human. Hi! I’m a fully qualified UK teacher with over 11 years of experience teaching Sociology and Religious Education, and I also support learners with English conversation and confidence-building.
I hold QTLS status and the National Professional Qualification for Senior Leadership (NPQSL), and I’ve worked with a wide range of students — from secondary school and sixth form learners preparing for exams, to adults who want to improve their confidence in spoken English.
My teaching style is calm, supportive, and structured around your goals. Whether you’re preparing for GCSE or A-Level exams, need help understanding key sociological theories or religious concepts, or simply want to practise speaking English more confidently, I tailor each session to you.
I’m especially good at:
• explaining complex ideas clearly and simply
• helping students organise their thinking and write stronger answers
• building confidence for exams, presentations, and everyday conversation
My sessions are friendly, encouraging, and focused on helping you make real progress without pressure or embarrassment. I believe learning works best when you feel comfortable, supported, and understood — and I aim to create that environment in every lesson.
