About Graham
I want to tutor English because I’m passionate about helping students develop their confidence and skills in reading, writing, and communication. With my background in English Literature and teaching, I understand the challenges students face and enjoy finding creative ways to make learning engaging and accessible. English is more than just a subject—it’s a key to understanding the world, expressing ideas, and achieving academic and career goals. Whether it’s improving essay writing, analysing literature, or mastering grammar, I tailor my approach to each student’s needs. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, think critically, and develop a lifelong appreciation for the power of language. By tutoring online, I can reach students who need flexible and effective learning support, helping them grow in confidence and ability no matter where they are.

Graham is a patient, reliable and well qualified tutor. His passion for literature is infectious and only add to his talents as a tutor. Highly recommend using him if you need an English tutor for your son or daughter.
Graham was an amazing tutor to my daughter last year, and got her GCSE grades in English from a 5 to a 7.
He was always reliable, and well prepared with engaging lesson plans.I cannot express the difference Graham made to my son’s education.
He not only got his grades up but built up my son’s confidence and self esteem making him a confident student.
Could not recommend more highly.View more recommendations
