About Adrienne
I am a semi-retired teacher having 18 years of teaching experience of class of up to 30. We own a home in south west France and spend as much time as possible there. I believe that in modern times, knowing another language opens up the world.

During my teaching career, I have used various methods of teaching French, always starting with oral and then moving on to reading and then writing. Using up-to-date techniques and online programmes allows for good pronunciation and also includes vital cultural information. Making the language come alive with the oral side is so important to the general confidence with another language as, being able to communicate well is so important.
