About Inshirah
I am a dedicated science teacher with four years of teaching experience across two schools. I have a strong passion for education, particularly in biology and chemistry, where I enjoy making complex concepts engaging and accessible for students. I strive to create a positive and interactive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and a love for science. I am a first-class Biochemistry graduate who has been tutoring both maths and science for 5+ years. I have also been teaching science for 4+ years. I teach all three sciences up till KS3, chemistry up till GCSE and Biology up till A level.
I am experienced in teaching a range of students with different abilities and different needs including autism, dyslexia and global development delay. This has allowed me to adapt and differentiate my teaching styles in a variety of ways such as using word banks, sentence starters and altering my explanations.
I also have experience in teaching triple science and pushing students to achieve those level 9s. This is done through exam practice ensuring students understand exactly what they need to know in order to get the marks.
My Tutoring lessons are typically one hour long and are a mix of going over content and then practising exam questions to ensure content has been understood. I cater my lessons for all abilities.
