About Micheal
My mission is less about the money, and about improving the writing skills of the student in a 1:1 setting, which is rare in the conventional classroom. I am a former Teacher-of-the Year in my San Diego County school district, and writing and history are my preferred subjects to teach. Working with me in a series of sessions, writers become more confident and independent in any writing tasks. The ability to write well has positive benefits in virtually any subject area!

I have had many years of success mentoring young writers to achieve more than they thought they could. My lessons are flexible to accommodate the needs of the student, from elementary to college and post-graduate writers. I can teach all essay formats, including persuasive, expository, narrative, descriptive, and argumentative for elementary and middle school Common Core. I can take the uncertainty out of ALA and MLA formatting and proper citation. Don't send that paper in without a once-over from an expert in writing!
