I am a professional private tutor. I have a Master of Arts in Elementary Education and a Bachelor of Science in Integrative Studies. I have been a private tutor for many years now. I have tutored students from elementary age through college. I tailor my lessons to the student I am seeing since I am usually working with such a large range of ages. I try to make my lesson plans game or puzzle-based to keep students engaged and using their problem-solving muscles. I aim for students to have strong foundational and problem-solving skills so they can reason out future questions rather than remember the steps to solving problems they have seen before.
