About Peter
I am a Dutch national, that has lived abroad in both Africa and the United States for the last 10 years. I have a Master's in transport economics, which I practiced for 35 years internationally before becoming a Dutch teacher for adults after moving abroad.

Experience in teaching beginner, intermediate and advanced Dutch to adults both inperson and online. Currently teaching at the Bethesda Dutch School and at the Dutch Embassy in Washington DC. I use the books Nederlands in Actie and Zo Gezegd / Zo Geschreven - but also rely on conversations of current events from Dutch newspapers and television. Strong grammatical background, but focus on conversational Dutch for both work and social occasions.
