About Neve
Hi! I’m Neve, an A-Level English Language student with a passion for words, writing, and helping others feel confident in their skills. I know that English can be tricky, from breaking down complex texts to mastering grammar and structuring essays — but I’m here to make it all feel more manageable (and maybe even a little fun!). I tailor each session to your learning style, whether you’re preparing for an exam, need help analysing texts, or just want to boost your confidence. I believe that no question is ever too small, and my goal is always to create a relaxed, encouraging space where you can feel safe to grow and learn. I teach using a lot of real world examples and metaphors. I have found this engages students whilst helping them relate to and understand the subject matter. I use lots of visuals and positive reinforcement to retain knowledge and understanding. Lessons are usually no longer than an hour, although they may sometimes exceed this. I have participated in the Voice Choice Programme which means I have sufficient skills in teaching. I have my GCSE at grade 7 in English Language, and I am also studying it at A-Level. I have covered many English Language themed tutoring workshops throughout my time in secondary school. The lessons are for GCSE level students from ages 10-16.
