About Jack
I’m a friendly and approachable Teaching Assistant currently working in a school, with experience supporting children both 1-to-1 and in small groups. I have a Level 2 qualification in Teaching and Learning Support and experience working with pupils with a range of additional needs, including SEN.
I enjoy helping children improve their confidence with English, particularly when they find reading, writing or schoolwork difficult. I’m patient and understand that every child learns differently, so I adapt my approach to make lessons supportive, engaging and suited to the individual pupil.

My English lessons are friendly, relaxed and tailored to each pupil’s individual needs. I offer KS2 and KS3 English support, including reading, writing, spelling, grammar and comprehension. My aim is to help pupils build confidence and improve their understanding without making learning feel stressful. I adapt each session to the pupil’s ability and learning style, using my experience as a Teaching Assistant and supporting pupils 1-to-1.
