About Wayne
As well as my Supply Teaching - Primary & Secondary commitments, I also currently tutor three primary Primary students - Literacy and Numeracy. Though I am a qualified, highly experienced Primary teacher I also specialise in teaching Humanities in school and in private homes, as well as the main core subjects - Literacy, Numeracy and Science. I have held numerous roles of responsibility in school including; Head of Year Group, Curriculum Leader, Head of House, After School Club Activities Coordinator, NQT Mentor and on the Curriculum Planning Team. I possess an excellent approach and extremely supportive towards my students personal and educational development.

I am a UK qualified teacher with over 18 years of teaching experience. I have taught both Primary, Year 1 to Year 6 including; Year 2 and Year 6 SATS, I have also taught Secondary students up to Key Stage 4 - Humanities, English and PE. I have also acquired teaching Special Educational Needs in both schools and as a Private Tutor. My teaching career incorporates working overseas in North Africa and the Middle East as well as teaching in the UK at International, Independent and State schools. I have experience teaching British National Curriculum, IB (PYP & MYP) and Cambridge Curriculum. My teaching style is focused on supporting individual needs and requirements with the view of fulfilling ones potential and confidence to overcome educational challenges and personal development. Lessons are structured to suit ones level of ability and learning style. I specialise teaching Literacy and Numeracy up to Key Stage 3 as well as History and Geography up to Key Stage 3. I have also taught Adult education - Key Life Skills, Literacy and Numeracy. I consider myself to be extremely flexible, relaxed and friendly towards my teaching methods to suit each of my student's requirements.
