About Chabel
I am a patient tutor but will firmly push your potential in learning! While I cater my teaching style to the student's learning style, I do not spoonfeed information but rather try to find the best method for the student to learn him/herself. With almost 3 years of private tutoring experience across many age groups, I am confident of my ability to impart the right level of knowledge and detail needed for each student's effective learning!

I believe different students learn differently but also that different subjects should be taught differently.
For Math or Economics, practice is important but knowing the steps to take as well as understanding the concepts is key to a strong foundation. I find it important for students to articulate their thought processes to find out where the mistakes were made and identify the misconceptions they have. I find this to be the most effective way in tackling fundamental errors: instead of only teaching my way of doing things and offering the answer, it is crucial to spot the errors in the students’ work instead.
Lessons can range between 1.5-2h depending on students' preferences. I have 2.5 years of private tutoring experience in Economics, Chemistry, Physics and Chinese language. I offer tuition for children up to A levels!
