About Francine
I am a very enthusiastic committed teacher who loves teaching. I have been teaching in Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Yemen all of which I enjoyed plus Sri Lanka which was a gorgeous country. Many years ago I also taught in Bahrain with the RAF. I love travelling by ship, plane and train and even returned to UK on a container ship one journey. Super! My passion is teaching 5 - 9 year olds to be able to read, write and speak very good English. I hope that you will like my note here and consider me as a tutor for your children. I went to Eastbourne Training College for 3 years and gained my Teachers Certificate. There was no university then except for high school teachers. I worked in Reading for a number of years teaching reception and then Grade 1 children (6 year olds). I had 36 in my class for my first year of teaching. A great class. I ran my own Nursery School overseas and I opened a nursery school here when I came back to England but have since sold that one to do private tutoring.

My teaching method is firstly to gain the children’s confidence so that they are keen to listen and learn. If a child is happy and settled in an environment they will absorb the lesson more easily.
