Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?
I'm passionate about computer programming, especially Python and C++. It all started back in school when I chose Computer Science as an elective in the 11th grade. Ever since then, coding has been my favorite part of the field.
What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?
My motivation for teaching comes from my brother. He saw potential in me and encouraged me to share my knowledge with others as a way to earn some extra income. His belief in me sparked my interest in teaching.
How does your work help society?
My work as a tutor helps students gain a better understanding of their subjects and topics. By providing guidance and support, I contribute to their academic success and help them build essential skills for their future.
If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?
One of my role models in the field is Sanchit Jain, a CS Gate educator. I admire his teaching style, especially how he keeps his classes entertaining by cracking jokes. His approach shows me that learning doesn't have to be dull, and I aim to incorporate similar elements into my teaching.
Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.
Outside of teaching, I love playing badminton with my friends. It's a fun way for me to relax and stay active. Sometimes, I also enjoy cooking as a hobby. Trying out new recipes helps me unwind and explore my creative side.
Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?
One memorable experience from my teaching journey was when I tutored a student from IIIT Delhi in the subject of Operating Systems (OS). Their syllabus was incredibly challenging, requiring me to dedicate entire days to researching and learning the topics myself through online blogs and YouTube videos. This experience made me realize the depth of my own capabilities and determination.
