About Sowmya

I am a B.Tech graduate in Computer Science Engineering who enjoys helping children learn with clarity and confidence. I have supported students through informal tutoring and volunteered in an NGO-led educational program at a government school.

My teaching approach focuses on understanding rather than memorization. I use simple explanations, real-life examples, small stories, and engaging activities to help students understand and remember what they learn. I am patient and approachable, and I encourage students to ask questions without hesitation.

I aim to create a comfortable learning environment where students can strengthen their English foundations, improve their reading and writing skills, and gradually become more confident in using the language.

About the lesson

I teach English to students in Classes 4–6 through online one-to-one classes. My focus is on helping students build strong foundations in grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, sentence formation and writing skills. I explain topics in simple language and use relatable examples, short stories and practice exercises to make learning easier and more interesting.

Classes can include concept explanation, schoolwork and homework support, reading practice, grammar exercises and writing activities based on the student's needs. I encourage students to ask questions freely and learn at their own pace. My aim is to improve their English skills, build confidence and help them communicate clearly and independently.
