About Addie
To teach English is to learn about the struggles that my students experience. I have two students as well as former students tell me about how they struggle through their daily lives trying to express themselves and how they find it difficult to say it or write it down. I want my students to know that they don't have to be afraid to express what they want to say because they will mess up. I teach that messing up is part of learning. I love teaching at their pace. This way I learn about why they struggle with English. I also learn similarities and differences in their native language compared to them learning their new language, English.
