About Elizabeth
Before coming to Turkey, I was working as an Assistant Manager in a textile factory therefore, I've learnt much about coaching and positive influence. I like to take that experience into my lessons as well.
I have a TEFL certificate and I'm also "grammar certified" meaning that I've got a high level of grammar understanding. I've taught in classrooms with up to fourteen students, and now I give one-on-one lessons online.

I am Elizabeth. I was born and raised in the United States but now I've been living and teaching English in Turkey for over four years.
I teach using the direct method approach. This means that we'll only use English to learn new vocabulary and grammar. Don't worry! I provide plenty of imagery to help the understanding of new content. Even games for children!
In my lessons we will only be speaking as a method of learning. Get ready to improve your spoken English rapidly, while learning to think and comprehend in English as well!
My lessons are for people of any age. They are most suitable for one-on-one lessons. Currently, my youngest student is five years old, and my oldest is sixty-seven!
I offer a high energy and fun learning environment. I encourage my student to ask and answer questions so that we can have valuable experiences.
