About Lynn
I’m someone who genuinely enjoys a challenge. Whether I’m training for a marathon, trekking across the Sahara or helping someone else achieve a goal, I’m motivated by progress and by seeing what’s possible when you push beyond what you thought you could do.
I bring that same mindset to tutoring and coaching. I’m encouraging, patient and approachable, but I’m also honest. I believe that confidence comes from making progress, overcoming the things that feel difficult and realising that you are capable of more than you perhaps thought.
I’m naturally positive and energetic, and I love working with people. I take the time to understand how each person likes to learn, because I know there isn’t one approach that works for everyone. Sometimes you need someone to explain something differently; sometimes you need a confidence boost; and sometimes you simply need someone to believe in you and keep you moving forward.
Outside of tutoring and coaching, I’m a busy mum who loves keeping fit, running, travelling and taking on new challenges. I’m definitely not someone who believes you have to have everything figured out to make progress — I’m a big believer in giving things a go, learning from setbacks and continuing to move forward.
Ultimately, I want the people I work with to leave feeling not only that they’ve achieved something, but that they’ve discovered they are capable of achieving far more than they realised.

Lesson structure will be determined based on how you like to learn but are always interactive and student-led. I try to make lessons fun and memorable - and, most importantly, relevant and useful.
If you are entering the world of work and want to build confidence and learn business language, I will tailor the lesson to suit.
If you are learning for a trip, or for future travel opportunities, the content will be based around relevant subjects.
The level of language taught will also be determined based on your current ability level and we will work at your pace.
