- When are you available?
I teach children on weekdays after school and adults at other times eg Friday mornings, weekday evenings etc as mutually convenient.
I take a summer break of 5-6 weeks, with 2 wks at Xmas and Easter and a week at half terms, which coincides broadly with the Surrey academic terms.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
5 years to adult. With younger pupils, eg 5 and 6 year olds, I do a five-week trial to see if they are ready to start. If all goes well, I do a further 5-week trial, to make sure the pupil, parent / carer and I are happy to continue.
I teach beginners to grade 8 level. Some students wish to work towards practical and music theory exams or take lessons because they are studying music at GCSE or A level. Others may wish to learn the piano for the pleasure of being able to play eg adults either starting the piano or returning to it after many years break.

This has now expired, but I intend to apply for a new one through the ISM. They can do this on my behalf, since I am a registered private tutor with them.
