About Sadettin
Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I was born and raised in England and lived in the UK for over 20 years. I currently live in Turkey. My mother is Turkish so I learned Turkish and I speak it fluently.
I studied business in the US and education at Oxford and was originally on my way to becoming a business strategist. However, I fell in love with teaching and decided to become an English teacher.
I am currently actively teaching in Antalya and have been teaching English for over 5 years. My teaching focuses on developing reading, writing, speaking and listening skills. I develop strategies and plans to improve speaking skills in particular.
In addition to working with schools in Turkey and the UK, I take part in international events such as MUN & JMUN, give private lessons to professionals and business people, organize group speaking lessons for children aged 11-15, and much more.
I look forward to seeing you among my many other students and helping you on your English journey.

My teaching philosophy is based on two fundamental principles: enjoyment and self-confidence. I have had the opportunity to teach a wide range of people, from business owners looking to improve their business speaking skills to university students preparing for exams and even learners as young as 11. Over the years, I have found that the most important elements in the learning process are that students truly enjoy the process and that this increases their self-confidence.
I make sure my students enjoy what they are learning and get them excited about the next lesson. At the same time, I help them develop confidence in their abilities and what they are learning. This way, my students quickly see real progress. Since every student is different, I create personalized lesson plans and strategies based on their needs.
My lessons are flexible and adapt to my students’ English level and learning pace. I use a variety of materials and activities that make lessons interesting, focusing on developing speaking skills. I especially help them overcome their fear of speaking English and encourage active participation in lessons. I am in constant communication with my students to assess what is working and what needs improvement.
At the end of each lesson, I give homework to reinforce the topics covered. Thanks to this approach, my students not only learn the language, but also see their self-confidence increase and their language skills improve effectively.
