About Shahid
Hello, this is Shahid, a learner and a teacher of the beautiful English language. I live in South Yorkshire, UK.
I am a content writer by passion and a marketer by profession. As a writer, I have written over 250 blogs and articles along with several stories and poems. As a marketer, I have managed website content and social media pages for more than 20 brands.
I have taught English Language, Business Communication, and Marketing at four universities to graduate and postgraduate students. I have also tutored several students to prepare for IELTS and all of them secured over 6.5 in their IELTS academic tests. I scored band 8 on my first attempt at IELTS.

My lessons are always a mix of concepts, practical work, and an activity to make learning fun. I believe the teacher is only successful when he treats the student's objectives as his own, so I discuss all the problems in the student's learning beyond the lesson plan to make sure the student is not just satisfied with the lesson but also confident to take up any challenge in the language learning process.
I like to take 1 hour sessions, 2 hours at most. I specialize in preparing students for English tests like IELTS or build their creative/academic writing skills.
I have a TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) certificate from Arizona State University, I have two postgraduate degrees, one in Marketing and another in Management Sciences.
