About Andy
My Name is Andy, I am 28 years old and local to the Bournemouth area.
I began teaching Kickboxing to vulnerable adults 10 years ago when I became a full-time support worker. This opportunity allowed people with limited access to mainstream society to learn a new skill, focus on positive self-development, and blow off some steam through exercise.
I am a part time Martial Arts teacher with an experience base in Karate, Kickboxing and Thai Boxing over the last 20 years. I began Karate when I was 7 and continued this until my mid teens. I then began competing in amateur Kickboxing and soon found a natural progression to Thai Boxing. I have fought successfully at amateur competition level and continue to do so. I have experience in teaching/maintaining these skills to people of all experience levels.

Thai Boxing Bournemouth:
Are you looking for a way to improve your fitness and build some self-confidence, or perhaps you want train for full-contact competition? You may just be looking to learn a new skill and have some fun.
Whatever your goals may be, we will tailor your teaching to suit your needs. I am an experienced fighter and teacher with a passion for making martial arts accessible for all, no matter what your current fitness or experience levels are currently.
Equipment:
-I have plenty of spare equipment, you do not need to buy any new equipment if you don't have any. If you would like to use your own gloves, shin pads, etc, this is absolutely fine.
-Standard gym clothes, a water bottle and a towel are advised.
-A gum shield is advised if you would like to practice sparring.
Venue(s):
- I am local to the BCP area and I am happy to teach at any location suitable to you. I can meet you at your address if you have adequate space to move around.
- Public spaces such as parks and beaches will work just as well (weather dependent).
- Alternatively, I am a regular client at a local Thai Boxing gym in Boscombe. With prior arrangement with the owner we have access to the facilities at the gym such as punch bags, mats and a boxing ring.
*Please note use of the gym may incur an additional cost to cover use of this space*
Time:
-Monday to Friday: 6pm-9pm
-Weekends: 10am-4pm
